We field calls everyday from customers trying to find a solution to their tank or fittings problem.  Here is a quick reference of the most commonly asked questions and our traditional answer.  We hope this saves you some time and helps you find answers more efficiently. 

RHINO FITTINGS

"What type of steel are the fittings made of?"

Our fittings are made of 316 stainless steel which is widely regarded as a premium material for tank fittings due to its exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance. It is especially well suited for demanding environments where reliability, hygiene, and structural integrity are critical.

"Do fittings come with gaskets?"

Yes, all our fittings are shipped with EPDM gaskets but Viton gaskets are available and ordered separately. 

"Are the fittings NSF safe for drinking water?"

Absolutely! Use on potable water tanks is common.  

"How are the fittings shipped?"

Traditionally we use FedEx with the shipping costs determined after we have your delivery address.  

"What is the lead time on delivery?"

Generally you should plan on allowing for 1-2 days for fulfillment and shipping.  Delivery time is dependent on the delivery location and distance from our warehouse in California.  

POLY TANK LADDERS

"What are they made of?'

Our ladders are made of galvanized steel for a long life of service. 

"What is the lead time for order fulfillment?"

Generally we will ship in order in 6-8 weeks. 

"How are they shipped?"

Ladders are palletized and shipped via LTL (Less Than A Load) trucks.  

GRAVEL RING KITS

"What are gravel ring kits made of?"

Our gravel rings are made of 14 gauge galvanized steel providing optimal strength and extended life due minimized corrosion. 

"What is the height of the rim on a gravel ring?"

The rim height is approximately (6) six inches. 

"What is included in each gravel ring kit?"

Each kit includes (5) five foot long rings with the number determined by the circumference of your pad. In addition, stakes, brackets and bolts to assemble the gravel ring are shipped with the rings.  The number of these items is determined by the size of your gravel ring. 

"What type of gravel is needed to fill the completed gravel ring?"

3/8 inch pea gravel is most commonly used for poly tanks and drain rock is necessary for steel tanks.  

"How are they shipped?"

Traditionally we use FedEx with the shipping costs determined after we have your delivery address.

SEISMIC KITS

"What is included in a seismic kit?"

Each kit comes complete with Anchor Tubes, Cables, Rope Clips, Eye Nuts, Angle Ring, and Anchor Rods.  All of these oarts are made of galvanized steel. 

"Do you offer engineering for them?"

Yes we offer California wet-stamped engineering.  For any other state or jurisdiction we do NOT offer engineering.  

"What is the lead time on order fulfillment?"

Generally it takes 6-8 weeks

"How are they shipped?"

These are shipped LTL (Less Than A Load) trucks.
